Since 1920: the history of these preserves is as exciting as
it is extensive. A century-old family saga, three generations dedicated to the
production of canned fish and seafood of the highest quality. 100 years of
tradition and artisan production since 1920 when D. José Peña Oubiña founded
one of the most important Galician canneries. Today, three generations later,
his flag of fidelity and commitment to quality continues to fly in the hands of
his grandson José Peña.
From the Galician estuaries, they are purified for 24 hours
so that they lose the sand in their stomach and then cooked in seawater.
